The Running Horse is a true gem, first transformed into a Tavern in 1738 and like many in its day seeking Royal protection, its name derived from the “Galloping Horse of Hanover”. It has survived to become one of the oldest public houses in Grosvenor, Mayfair.
The restaurant and bar can be split for all types of events whether a small business lunch or full-blown drinks party. The ground floor seats 80 and the first floor room can seat 40. They can host standing events of up to 150 guests across the venue.
The menu features old favourites and modern classics alongside each other, using fresh produce and expertise from the talented chefs.
The Running Horse has a fine selection of drinks and a reasonably priced wine list, something for everybody’s taste.
