J Sheekey’s five inter-connecting rooms, hung with the original pictures of actors from throughout the 20th century, reflect its central position in the theatre world. Both casts and audiences still flock here for immaculately sourced and perfectly prepared seafood – oysters, shellfish and the famous fish pie – and to continue the evening’s entertainment.
The restaurant’s intimate, inter-connecting rooms mean that J Sheekey is unsuitable for private hire. However its ever-popular menu can be recreated in other venues and private homes by Sheekey’s event catering division, Urban Caprice.
