Hix Oyster and Chop House opened at the end of April 2008. Evoking the atmosphere of London’s old oyster and chop houses, the restaurant has an informal feel and the menu bears all the hallmarks of Mark’s philosophy towards British dining. And, every afternoon between 3pm and 7pm they offer 6 rock oysters and a glass of wine or prosecco at the bar, for £15.
They can accommodate parties of 20 people for feasts. The Chop House is available for private book-outs, bespoke events and breakfast meetings. The restaurant can be booked out for up to 70 people for lunch or dinner.
Food
The menu shows Mark’s philosophy towards British dining: his passion for UK produce; a love of ingredients and an appreciation of simplicity.
Drink
A variety of champagnes, wines and cocktails are available from the bar, including the, now famous, Hix Fix.
