Situated in the heart of London’s theatreland, the building dates back to the 1890’s when it operated as a French hospital. There is an impressive drawing room with quirky furniture and vivid upholstery. The 58 bedrooms and suites are each individually designed. There is a busy brasserie and bar, gym, beauty treatment room as well as two private event rooms and a 47 seat state-of-the-art screening room.
On the lower ground floor is a state-of-the art screening room with 47 comfortable leather chairs with two private event rooms adjacent. The drawing room at the Covent Garden Hotel is tucked away on the hotel's first floor. It is a spacious, wood panelled room with vivid upholstery, a French stone fireplace and quirky furniture.
Food
The restaurant seats 50 with a further 50 at the bar. It is a buzzy bar and restaurant, popular for pre and post theatre dining, serving modern British cuisine with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce. Executive Chef Paul Shields creates a seasonal changing, modern menu. His focus is on top quality, organically grown and seasonal produce.
Drink
There is a wide selection of wines by the glass, and is open all day everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner or just for coffee and cocktails.
